Location – Bruce Highway—Mailman Rd to Mackenzie Creek: widening and overtaking lanes

Scope – Pavement widening and installation of wide centre line treatments between Mailman Road and Mackenzie Creek. Wide centre line treatments increase the distance between oncoming traffic lanes, reducing the risk of head-on collisions.

Improvements to the Bruce Highway intersection with Cromarty Siding Road.

Construction of 3 new overtaking lanes (2 southbound and 1 northbound) between Mailman Road and Mackenzie Creek. Overtaking lanes reduce driver frustration and reduce the risk of unsafe overtaking manoeuvres.
